Presented is a very substantial collection of 113 circa 1950s nonsport bread labels, highlighted by two complete sets. Designed to be applied to loaves of bread, labels are naturally rare (having been issued only one label per loaf of bread) and often found with numerous condition issues. The backs are blank and are almost always found with paper loss or remnants of the bread packaging still affixed. Condition of the offered labels is overall modest as a result, with very few of the labels technically grading higher than Good. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1950 E.G. Sperry Transportation Series Bread Labels Complete Set (48). 2) 1950s Western Characters NBC Bread Labels Complete Set (34): Includes both blue and black variations of the following three labels: Buffalo Bill, Calamity Jane, and Prospector. 3) Miscellaneous Labels (28): Includes: Taystee "Cowboy-G-Men" and Freihofer Characters "Mr. Fish." A very presentable lower-grade collection of these very colorful nonsport bread label tops. Total: 113 labels.
