Description

Copyrighted in 1949 and released to the public in 1950, this complete set of "Wild West" cards features some of the finest artwork of any Bowman production. The set is organized into eight separate series (A through H), each with a different theme relating to the Old West: "Winning the West," "Indian Costumes," "Famous Characters," "Indian Warfare," "Cowboy Life," "Law and Order," "River Days," and "Western Stars." Condition is 7% Nr/Mt or better, 10% Ex to Ex-Mt, 39% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 44% lesser (including one trimmed). A desirable mixed-grade complete set of this scarce and extremely popular nonsport issue. Total: 180 cards.
