Lot # 2863: 1966 Donruss, Topps, and Ed-U-Cards "Green Hornet" Complete Set Trio (3 Sets, 142 Cards) Plus Two Wrappers

Presented are three different "Green Hornet" complete sets, issued in 1966 by Topps, Donruss, and Ed-U-Cards. These sets were produced to coincide with the ABC television series following the exploits of the Green Hornet, a masked, crime-fighting vigilante. The show was a hit during the two seasons it aired, and the Green Hornet remains a very popular character to this day. Included are five 1966 Dexter Press "Green Hornet" postcards. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1966 Donruss Complete Set (44) Plus Wrapper: Condition ranges from Vg to Ex (averaging Vg-Ex), with a couple lesser. The original wrapper is in Good condition due to small edge tears. 2) 1966 Topps Stickers Complete Set (44) Plus Three Duplicates and Wrapper: Condition is 15% Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt, 70% ranging from Vg to Ex, and 15% lesser. The original wrapper is in Ex-Mt condition Includes three duplicates (#20, 32, and 41). 3) 1966 Ed-U-Cards Complete Set (54) Plus Original Box: Condition ranges from Nr/Mt to Mint overall, with a few slightly lesser. The flattened original box is in Fair to Good condition due to tape remnants and moisture stains. 4) 1966 Dexter Press Postcards (5): 16041-C (Nr/Mt+), 16043-C (Nr/Mt), 16047-C (Vg+), 16048-C (Ex-Mt), and 16051-C (Vg). Very attractive mid- to high-grade collection from the popular The Green Hornet television series. Total: 150 cards, two wrappers, and one box.
