Description

Collection of 20 regular-season ticket stubs from the 1957 Brooklyn Dodgers season. 1957 would mark the Dodgers' final season in Brooklyn. Ten tickets are noteworthy as each represents a career home run for a key Hall of Famer (Aaron, Campanella, Snider, and Musial). All but four tickets have the date printed on the front. The tickets missing dates have been matched to specific games by noted ticket historian Alan Busby. This collection consists of the following home games: April 24 vs. Giants, two May 5 vs. Braves, June 7 vs. Reds, June 16 vs. Cardinals, July 11 vs. Reds, July 15 vs. Braves, July 17 vs. Cardinals, July 19 vs. Cubs, July 21 vs. Cubs (doubleheader), July 22 vs. Braves, August 18 vs. Pirates (doubleheader), August 20 vs. Reds (doubleheader), August 21 vs. Reds, two August 22 vs. Braves, August 23 vs. Braves, August 24 vs. Braves, August 25 vs. Cardinals, and August 28 vs. Cubs. The tickets, which vary in size, range from Poor to Very Good (with a couple better). Total: 20 ticket stubs.
