Graded VG 3 by SGC. Outstanding T206 White Border of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb with a desirable Old Mill advertising reverse. The green background pose has long been considered the rarest of the four poses of Cobb in the T206 set. The fact this example features an uncommon Old Mill advertising reverse makes it of particularly special note. To date, SGC has only graded eight examples of the green background Cobb featuring this back, with only one graded higher than the offered card. The offered example exhibits a beautiful green background, excellent registration, and honest corner wear (weaker top left). The important advertising reverse is boldly printed and clean. This is a superb scarce-back example of this classic Ty Cobb tobacco card, worthy of even the most advanced Ty Cobb, Hall of Fame, or T206-back collection
