Graded VG 3 by PSA. Beautiful mid-grade example of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle's true rookie card. One of card collecting's great classics, Mantle's Bowman rookie card is the key to the 1951 set and is one of the most popular and significant of all postwar baseball cards. This example has vibrant colors, light corner wear, strong centering, and a diagonal crease extending through Mantle's bat. The back is also particularly clean, with no wax wrapper or gum stains, which are often a problem with 1951 Bowmans. A very attractive mid-grade example of this legendary card.
