Graded VG 3 (MK) by PSA. Buffalo Sabres ticket stub (1-1/2 x 2-5/8 inches) issued for a game against the Philadelphia Flyers on November 1, 1981, at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium, in which Pelle Lindbergh made his NHL debut for Philadelphia and Val James for Buffalo. Lindbergh, the first European goalie to be drafted in the NHL entry draft, starred for the Flyers until his tragic death in November of 1985, just five months after winning the Vezina Trophy and leading the team to a Stanley Cup finals appearance. James holds the distinction of being the first African-American to play in the NHL.
