Lot # 1785: Signed 1974 Topps #538 Cesar Tovar - PSA/DNA - Signature Rarity - The Only PSA-Graded Example!

1974 Topps card #538 Cesar Tovar signed by him in blue ink across the front. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card and certified the signature as “Authentic” (submitted by REA). The signature of Tovar on a Topps card is exceedingly rare. Tovar, who was from Venezuela, lasted twelve seasons (19765-1976) in the Major Leagues, most of which were spent as a member of the Minnesota Twins. Immediately afterwards, he returned to Venezuela to play professional baseball in the winter league for 26 years. He passed asway in 1994 at the young age of 54. This is the ONLY signed example of this card ever encapsulated by PSA/DNA!
