Original news photo taken during a celebration honoring the "All-Time Dodgers team" during the 1955 season. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photo by PSA/DNA. The Dodgers hosted the festivities on August 14th, in between games of a doubleheader at Ebbets Field. Several Dodgers greats from the past attended the ceremony, including Dazzy Vance and Zach Wheat. In this photo, Vance is captured showing off his pitching motion in front of a large group that includes Wheat and several members of the 1955 squad, most notably Gil Hodges, Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese, and Duke Snider. The reverse bears a "New York Times" credit stamp and a printed caption dated "8/14/'55." The photo (10 x 8-1/8 inches) displays spots of paper residue on the front and is in Very Good condition overall.
