Description

Presented is an outstanding near-complete "Factory Sealed Bags" set of 1984-1985 Star Company Basketball consisting of 190 different cards (out of 288 in the set). This near-complete set is offered in 16 factory-sealed bags as issued, all professionally graded and encapsulated by GAI. Steve Hart of the Baseball Card Exchange (the leading authority on unopened material) has personally reviewed these packs, and in his opinion, they are original and unopened. The issue was limited to approximately 3,000 sets (which immediately sold out). The 16 factory sealed bags feature the following team sets: Boston Celtics (#1-12, GEM MINT 9.5), Los Angeles Clippers (#13-24, NM-MT+ 8.5), New York Knicks (#25-37, PERFECT 10), Phoenix Suns (#38-51, MINT 9), Indiana Pacers (#52-63, GEM MINT 9.5), San Antonio Spurs (#64-75, MINT 9), Atlanta Hawks (#76-87, MINT 9), New Jersey Nets (#88-100, MINT 9), Seattle Supersonics (#113-124, GEM MINT 9.5), Milwaukee Bucks (#125-136, NM-MT+ 8.5), Los Angeles Lakers (#172-184, NM-MT+ 8.5), Washington Bullets (#185-194, MINT 9), Cleveland Cavaliers (#213-224, MINT 9), Dallas Mavericks (#250-260, NM+ 7.5), Detroit Pistons (#261-269, NM-MT 8), and Sacramento Kings (#270-280, NM+ 7.5).
