Description

Graded NM 7 by PSA. Only two examples graded higher. Superb high-grade example of Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Famer Roy Campanella from the 1950 Drake's Cookies issue. Because of the black flush-to-the-border design and how they were issued (regionally, one card per box, and with cookies to kids), Drake's has always been a very condition-sensitive issue. This example has a crisp image, strong corners, and light wear along the edges. Boldly printed reverse. This is an outstanding high-grade example that would make a worthy addition to any Roy Campanella or 1950 Drake's collection.
