Lot # 620: 1916 M101-4 Indianapolis Brewing Co. #36 Charles Comiskey PSA EX+ 5.5 - 1 of 1 - Highest Graded!

Graded EX+ 5.5 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level by PSA with none higher! Indianapolis Brewing is an exceedingly rare back for any M101-4, let alone for Chicago White Sox Hall of Famer Charles Comiskey. The 1916 Indianapolis Brewing Co. set is identical in design to M101-4 and M101-5 Sporting News (as is the case with all the M101-4 and M101-5 sets issued by various local establishments), but with advertising on the reverse for the "Indianapolis Brewing Co. – Indianapolis, Indiana." This is a great card with any back, but the advertising reverse in this case certainly does deserve prominent mention and potentially adds a very special dimension of interest. This well-centered card has superb clarity and even corner wear. The reverse advertisement for Indianapolis Brewing Company is boldly printed in black. This is a very attractive example worthy of the finest Charles Comiskey or rare vintage baseball-card collection.
