Graded NM+ 86 by SGC. This is the only example graded at this level by SGC with none higher. Beautiful example of Bill McClellan (Pose #304-1, Denver) from the N172 Old Judge set posed in an outdoor setting. It is interesting to note that his name is misspelled as "McClennan" on this card. The "Denver team" series, featuring players from the Denver Grizzlies of the Western Association, is one of the rarest and most popular subsets of the N172 Old Judge set. The offered card displays superb image quality, light corner wear, and a slight diamond cut. The blank reverse is entirely clean. This is an outstanding representation from this classic nineteenth-century set that would be an extremely significant addition to any high-grade N172 Old Judge collection.
