Description

Original snapshot photo featuring legendary sprinter Jesse Owens and Italian basketball player Mike Pelliccia during the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, Germany. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. The black-and-white photo captures the group posing in front of a basketball hoop. Owens, pictured in the center, is wearing a USA sweatshirt. Black ink notations are penned on the reverse. The photo (4-3/8 x 2-5/8 inches) displays a spot of black ink along the bottom border and minor back damage. Very Good condition overall.
