Lot # 3184: 1983 Topps Uncut Double Proof Sheet with Ryne Sandberg Rookie, Rickey Henderson, and Reggie Jackson

1983 Topps uncut double proof sheet with 264 cards, featuring many stars and Hall of Famers. The sheet is especially unusual in that it is blank backed but in all other respects is identical to a final production sheet. Highlights include Ryne Sandberg's rookie, Rickey Henderson, Reggie Jackson, Pete Rose, and George Brett. This 264-card "Jumbo" sheet measures 57 x 43 inches. Because of the large size, it is susceptible to minor imperfections. The sheet has various condition flaws such as minor creases, as well as light edge and corner wear. This sheet is very bright, crisp, and extremely impressive, and could easily be cut down into two standard 132-card sheets. Assigning an overall grade to uncut sheets, especially one of this impressive size, can be extremely difficult. Many of the interior cards on this sheet would grade Near Mint. It remains a very impressive and outstanding uncut sheet worthy of any advanced Topps collection. Please note: This sheet has been stored rolled and will be shipped as such.
