Graded VG 3 by PSA. T213 (Type 3) Coupon Cigarette card of Ty Cobb (red portrait), the key card to this elusive and extremely rare tobacco set. T213 Coupon Cigarettes are one of the most interesting, rarest, and most overlooked of all tobacco card issues. Similar in design and borrowing the same images as T206, T213 (Type 3) is believed to have been issued exclusively in the Louisiana area and was the very last of the traditional tobacco card sets. The set was issued in 1919. The offered card has a bright red background, a crisp image, and even corner wear. Clean reverse with bold black text. Light, unobtrusive creasing contributes to the assigned grade. T213 (Type 3) Coupons are far rarer than their T206 counterparts. This is a very attractive example of one of Cobb's rarest and most interesting tobacco cards.
