Very attractive near-complete set of 1941 R330 Double Play consisting of 58 different cards (out of 75 in the set) from this unique prewar card issue, which features two players per card and is highlighted by cards featuring Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams (each appearing on two cards), as well as many other Hall of Famers and stars of the era. Issued by Gum Products, Inc., of Cambridge, MA, this set has never received the collector interest that it deserves. R330s are much scarcer than other issues produced during the same time period, like Play Balls. Condition is 17% Nr/Mt or better, 31% Ex to Ex-Mt, 32% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 20% lesser.
