Presented is a near-complete set of 1934-1936 R327 Diamond Stars consisting of 102 different cards (out of 108 in the set). Missing the following six cards for completion: #1 Grove, 12, 27 Traynor, 44 Hornsby, 54 Greenberg, and 64 Foxx. This impressive collection of the classic 1930s gum-card issue is highlighted by 32 Hall of Famers and includes all 12 of the rare high-number series cards (#97 through 108), which have always made this issue so difficult to complete. Condition is 8% Vg, 26% Gd, and 66% Pr to Fr (including two altered and a few that measure a bit small). Keys: #2 Simmons (Pr), 3 Maranville (Fr), 9 Cochrane (Pr), 11 Dickey (Pr), 14 Terry (Pr), 16 L. Waner (Pr), 17 Frisch (Pr), 18 Hafey (Gd), 28 Lopez (Fr), 29 Rolfe (Pr), 30 Manush (Pr-Fr), 31 Cuyler (Vg), 32 Rice (Pr), 35 Averill (Gd), 36a "Earnie" Lombardi (Gd), 39 Hubbell (Gd), 43 Lyons (Pr-Fr), 48 Ferrell (Gd), 50 Ott (Pr), 59 Bottomley (Fr), 60 Ruffing (Gd), 66 Medwick (Pr-Fr due to back damage), 74 Lazzeri (Pr), 77 Gehringer (Fr), 83 Waner (Fr), 91 Harris (Pr-Fr), 95 Appling (Fr), 97 Lopez (Gd), 99 Traynor (Pr-Fr), 100 Averill (Gd), 103 Dickey (Pr-Fr), 104 Rolfe (Gd), 105 Lombardi (Pr, defaced), and 108 Berger (Pr). This is a very presentable lower-grade near-complete set of one of the 1930s' most popular issues. Total: 102 cards.
