Official Major League baseball (Selig) signed by Bobby Richardson. Richardson's inscription details the final out of the 1962 World Series. In Game 7, Richardson's New York Yankees clung to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the ninth inning. However, the San Francisco Giants were threatening, with runners on second and third and Hall of Fame slugger Willie McCovey at the plate. On the second pitch of the at-bat, McCovey smoked a line drive right at Richardson for the final out, preserving the victory and giving the Yankees their 20th championship in franchise history. Near Mint condition overall. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
