Pair of items, each signed on the front by a number of former members of the 1961 world champion New York Yankees. 1) Lou Gehrig commemorative first-day cover signed by seventeen players: Stafford, Reniff, Arroyo, James, Downing, Lopez, Tresh, Daley, Reed, Hale, Sheldon, Duren, Terry, Ditmar, Sain (coach), Coates, and Gardner. The envelope (6-1/2 x 3-5/8 inches) has been postmarked "Jun 10 1989" and remains in Excellent condition. 2) "Autograph Of" signature card signed by sixteen players: Stafford, Reniff, Arroyo, James, Downing, Lopez, Tresh, Daley, Reed, Sheldon, Duren, Terry, Ditmar, Sain (coach), Coates, and Gardner. The card (6-1/4 x 3-1/2 inches) remains in Excellent condition. Total: 2 signed items. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
