Description

Extraordinarily rare and striking pair of basketball-theme store window display advertising signs issued to promote Converse's "Chuck Taylor" sneakers. Each advertising display features a generic illustration of a player along with an image of the Converse sneaker and the name of the product. Both of the advertising pieces have an Excellent appearance; however, close examination of the one featuring the player wearing #50 jersey reveals a small spot of paper loss on the upper right. The other still has the original peel-back stickers in each corner, these were removed at the time by store owners to affix to their windows. These are extremely rare and stunning. Each display measures 16.5 x 7 inches (visible dimensions). Both are matted and framed; one to the total dimensions of 22.75 x 13 inches and the other measures 19.5 x 9.5 inches. Please note these items have not been inspected out of the frames. Total: 2 items. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
