Presented is an astounding complete unopened wax box of 1961 Topps Football containing 24 original unopened 5-cent wax packs, recently discovered in the Midwest. One of only three known to exist, this is an extremely rare complete unopened box! This is the only complete unopened wax box of this issue that we have offered in the past 22 years. The 1961 Topps football set is one of the most popular of the decade for its simple design, crisp images, and brilliant colors. The set is highlighted by 43 different Hall of Famers, including Johnny Unitas, Jim Brown, Bart Starr, and rookie cards of Hank Jordan, Don Maynard, Jim Otto, and Tom Flores. The display box has survived with bright colors and very minimal shelf wear. The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). This tremendous unopened wax box would make an incredible addition to even the most advanced football or unopened box collection.
