Description

Presented is an extremely rare original unopened wax box of 1964 Philadelphia Football. The box contains 24 wax packs with each pack containing five cards, for a total of 120 cards. The 1964 Philadelphia set features all the stars of the day highlighted by 34 Hall of Famers, including Jim Brown, Bart Starr, and Johnny Unitas, as well as the Hall of Fame rookie cards of Merlin Olsen, Herb Adderley, Willie Davis, Mick Tingelhoff, and John Mackey. Referring to this box as rare might be understating how difficult it is to find for collectors of unopened material. This is only the third complete unopened wax box from this classic set that we have ever offered! The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The store display box is bright and bold with light shelf wear. This is a stunning unopened wax box that would make a superb addition to any football or unopened wax-box collection.
