Lot # 394: 1909-1911 T206 White Border Bill O'Hara St. Louis Variation PSA GOOD 2

Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Very presentable example of the rare Bill O'Hara card, St. Louis Browns T206 variation. Polar Bear was the only company to issue this variation, contributing to its significant rarity. T206 cards issued with Polar Bear tobacco were not well protected from the accompanying product, so almost all O'Haras have significant condition problems, including at least some tobacco staining. This example has minimal staining. This well-centered card has beautiful colors, excellent registration, and light corner wear. The Polar Bear reverse is boldly printed. A few creases are largely responsible for the assigned grade. A pleasing example of one of the rarest and most condition-sensitive cards in the classic T206 White Border set.
