Description

Presented is a rarely offered example of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Sam Crawford from the 1910 Orange Borders series. In 1910, the "Geo. Davis Co., Inc." and the "P.R. Warren Co." of Massachusetts together issued this striking and extremely rare package-design set, with two cards featured on each box of "American Sports - Candy and Jewelry" (one on the front, and one on the back). Graded GOOD 2 by SGC, the well-centered card displays a crisp image, honest corner wear, and moderate creasing. This is a very attractive card from this elusive set worthy of any Sam Crawford, prewar, or type-card collection.
