Description

Rarely offered example of Jackie Robinson and Roy Campanella from the 1952 Star-Decals (Type 2) series. Issued by the Meyercord Co. of Chicago in 1952, the Type 2 set is similar in design to the Type 1 but slightly smaller (4-1/8 x 3-1/16 inches), and consists of 32 decals, with each sheet featuring two players instead of one. The decal is bright and clean. Encapsulated as "Authentic" by PSA, the original packaging envelope exhibits moderate edge and corner wear, with a few small spots of paper loss visible on the reverse.
