Complete set of "Major League All-Star Stationery" together with the original box, highlighted by Mickey Mantle, Sandy Koufax, Willie Mays, and Hank Aaron. This very unusual set includes two sheets of stationery per player of sixteen different players, for a total of thirty-two sheets. Thirty (out of thirty-two) envelopes are also included. The condition of the stationery and envelopes is Vg-Ex to Ex overall, with a few slightly higher and lower. Many of the envelopes are lightly adhered at the flaps. The original box is in Very Good condition, with one split edge and a slightly collapsed base. The set consists of the following (two sheets per player): Aaron (HOF), Aparicio (HOF), Boyer, Bunning (HOF), Cepeda (HOF), Ford (HOF), Gentile, Groat, Killebrew (HOF), Koufax (HOF), Mantle (HOF), Mays (HOF), Mazeroski (HOF), Moran, Rollins, and Romano. This is an interesting set featuring unique, non-card items that were marketed to children and featuring some of the biggest stars of the early 1960s, including Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, and Sandy Koufax.
