Description

Rawlings "Official Little League" baseball signed by 26 individuals, including members of both the 1954 Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees. The signatures, scripted in blue ink, were likely obtained at the 1954 Mayor's Trophy Game held at Yankee Stadium on June 14. Included among the Brooklyn Dodgers signatures are those of Hodges, Reese, Black, Milliken, Furillo, Cox, Loes, Labine, Stanky, Erskine, Newcombe, Roe, and Shuba. New York Yankees signatures include Mantle (sweet spot), Stengel, Dickey, Byrd, Sain, Carey, Miranda, Noren, Coleman, and Wiesler. Additional signatures on the ball are those of broadcaster Red Barber (sweet spot) and Al F. Lang. The ball, which has been coated with a layer of protective shellac, displays light toning and a few surface abrasions. In Very Good to Excellent condition. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
