Presented is a near-complete set of 1971 Topps consisting of 737 different cards (out of 752 in the set). Missing the following fifteen cards for completion: #54, 100 Rose, 250 Bench, 264, 525 Banks, 549, 560, 580, 600 Mays, 640 F. Robinson, 649, 650, 671, 688, and 722. The black flush-to-the-border design of the 1971 Topps set makes this issue particularly challenging to collect in extremely high grade. Condition is 17% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (mostly Nr/Mt), 72% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 11% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a few that measure small and fifteen with color added). Keys: #5 Munson (Ex), 20 Jackson (color added, otherwise Vg+), 26 Blyleven RC (Ex), 117 Simmons RC (Vg-Ex), 160 Seaver (Nr/Mt+), 341 Garvey RC (Nr/Mt), 400 Aaron (color added, otherwise Ex), 450 Gibson (Nr/Mt), 513 Ryan (Ex+), 530 Yastrzemski (Ex-Mt), 550 Killebrew (color added, otherwise Vg-Ex), 570 Palmer (Ex), 625 Brock (Ex+), 630 Clemente (color added, otherwise Vg-Ex), and 709 Baylor/Baker RC (color added, otherwise Ex).
