Graded VG/EX 4. Bright and crisp example of Washington Senators Hall of Famer Walter Johnson from the 1915 Cracker Jack series. This is one of Johnson's most striking and popular cards. The presence of caramel staining on the offered example would suggest that it was originally packaged in one of the boxes. 1915 Cracker Jacks will always be one of the most highly prized and widely collected of all prewar sets. Johnson is one of the key cards in the set, along with Ty Cobb, Joe Jackson, Christy Mathewson, and Honus Wagner. This card has outstanding color, excellent registration, and moderate corner wear. A bit of caramel staining is present along the bottom right. This is a strong example of a classic card.
