Description

Graded VG 3 by SGC. Featuring a majestic portrait of the legendary Washington Senators pitcher, the Walter Johnson card is one of the key Hall of Famers in the M116 Sporting Life set. Like his portrait card in T206, this card is recognized as one of Johnson's most striking cards. The offered card has a crisp image, light corner wear (weaker lower left), and excellent centering. The Sporting Life advertising on the back is boldly printed. A crease near the upper-left corner factors into the assigned grade. This card represents an excellent value, in our opinion, especially compared to other quality 1910-era issues featuring Johnson. This is a beautiful card in an extremely desirable grade that would be a worthy addition to an M116, Walter Johnson, or classic Hall of Fame card collection.
