Graded EX/NM 6 by SGC (submitted by REA). Extremely attractive rookie card of Boston Bruins Hall of Famer Bobby Orr from the classic 1966-1967 Topps Hockey set. From the first time that Bobby Orr played professional hockey, it was quite obvious that his influence would change the game forever. One of the all-time great defensemen, Orr showed that players at his position could become an offensive force as well. He played just nine full seasons but his legend was so great that he was elected into Hockey's Hall of Fame in the same year he retired, 1979. This card is especially difficult to find in high grade because of the brown flush-to-the-border design of the 1966-1967 Topps Hockey set. The offered example displays vibrant colors, outstanding image clarity, light corner wear, and minimal wear to the condition-sensitive brown border. Boldly printed reverse. This is a strong example of this important rookie card, which is one of the key cards in the extremely condition-sensitive 1966-1967 Topps set.
