Lot # 3228: 1969 Topps Super Square-Cut Proof Collection (6)

Very attractive collection of six extremely rare square-cut proof cards from the 1969 Topps Super set. The 1969 Topps Super Baseball set was issued on an extremely limited test basis and has withstood the test of time as one of the classic and highly prized sets of the era. These proof cards have square corners, as they have not gone through the entire production process, as opposed to the final-production cards, which were cut with rounded corners to dimensions of 2.25 x 3.25 inches. This collection has been neatly hand cut to standard dimensions of approximately 2.5 x 3.5 inches, resulting in white borders and/or the next card appearing on two edges of each card. This collection consists of the following: #13 Tiant (Nr/Mt), 16 Horton (Ex), 22 Foy (Vg-Ex+), 33 Miincher (Ex), 35 Alou (Vg-Ex+), and 57 Blass (Ex).
