Description
Complete 25-card set of 1953 Johnston Cookies Braves cards, plus two duplicates (#16 and 20). The regionally issued set features only Milwaukee Braves players. One card was inserted in a box of cookies. Complete sets were also made available from Johnston Cookies through a premium mail-in offer. Condition is Vg-Ex overall, with a couple better and a few lesser (including one with a slight trim). Keys: #10 Spahn (Vg-Ex) and 21 Mathews (Vg-Ex). This is a very attractive mid-grade complete set from the golden years of regional issues. Total: 27 cards (set of 25 plus two duplicates).
