Presented is a partial set of "American Indian Chiefs" consisting of twenty-six different cards (out of forty in the set), plus six duplicates. Issued by the Red Man Tobacco Co. in 1954, this colorful series uses similar artwork that appears on the N2 Allen & Ginter American Indian Chiefs series issued in 1888, and features many of the most legendary American Indian Chiefs, such as Sitting Bull. Condition is 37% ranging from Vg to Ex (averaging Vg-Ex) and 63% lesser (mostly Pr to Pr-Fr, with most showing the slit cut on the bottom edge that is common to this issue). This collection consists of the following: #1, two 4, 5, two 7, two 8, 9, 10, two 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, two 30, two 31, 32, 33, 34, 37 Sitting Bull, and 38. Total: 32 cards (partial set of 26 plus 6 duplicates).
