Description

Graded FAIR 1.5 by PSA. Extremely attractive example of Babe Ruth from the W575-2 strip-card series. Originally issued in strips, these cards (and almost all strip-cards) are often found with irregularly cut borders, as they were cut by hand from the strips, as intended. Only ideally cut examples (like the offered example) are awarded numerical grades by PSA (and SGC). The offered card is bright and crisp with minimal corner wear. Light creasing and a few small spots of paper loss along the left border are responsible for the assigned grade. This is a very desirable example of one of Babe Ruth's most classic 1920s strip-cards and one that would be an outstanding addition to any Babe Ruth, strip-card, or prewar-card collection.
