Description

Original unopened rack pack from the 1971 Topps baseball second series (#133-263) with Hall of Famer Tom Seaver (#160) showing on top and fellow Hall of Famer Ron Santo (#220) showing on the bottom. In addition to the Hall of Famers showing on this pack, this series is highlighted by Johnny Bench, Al Kaline, and Rod Carew. Any unopened material from 1971 Topps is extremely rare and, in our experience, it becomes available less often than any other 1970s set. 1971 Topps are especially condition-sensitive, as the black flush-to-the-border design of the set makes them particularly susceptible to corner and edge wear. This pack comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (Steve Hart), the foremost expert on unopened material. The pack displays well overall, with normal crimping along the plastic edges. This is a superb original unopened rack pack from one of the most popular and condition-sensitive of all 1970s Topps issues.
