Graded MINT 9 by SGC. One of only two examples graded at this lofty level by SGC with none higher!. Stunning high-grade example of Chicago Cubs Hall of Famer Ernie Banks from the 1971 Topps set. This set is naturally prone to many different problems, including centering issues, print quality, and especially corner and edge chipping. A grade of MINT for any card from this set is miraculous, but such a high-quality example of a premier Hall of Famer is especially noteworthy! Bright, crisp, and clean with four sharp corners and outstanding centering. Clean reverse. This is a striking high-grade example of Ernie Banks from one of the most condition-sensitive sets ever produced.
