Description

Rarely offered 50-card complete set of “Indian Chiefs” cards issued by the British American Tobacco Co. in 1930. This colorful series uses the similar artwork that appears on the N2 Allen & Ginter American Indian Chiefs series issued in 1888 and features many of the most legendary American Indian Chiefs. Included are Geronimo, Sitting Bull, and many more. Condition is 15% Nr/Mt or slightly better, 53% Ex to Ex-Mt, 16% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 16% lesser. Keys: #32 Geronimo (Ex-Mt) and 41 Sitting Bull (Vg). This is one of the premier sets featuring Indians, which has always been a popular area of collecting. Total: 50 cards.
