Graded GOOD 2 by SGC. Extremely attractive mid-grade example of Cap Anson from the N173 Old Judge cabinet series. The N173 Anson is one of the most impressive of all his cards. It is one of the great classics and one of the most sought-after of all 19th century cards. The actual mounted photograph has two small spots of paper loss on the left edge, a surface scratch in the upper right, and light toning. The mount has moderate corner wear. The blank reverse has a few surface indentations and scattered light stains throughout. Despite these faults, this is still a very attractive card. Technically in Good condition overall but with a much stronger appearance.
