Description

Graded VG 3 by SGC. Attractive mid-grade example of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle's second Topps card. One of card collecting's greatest classics, Mantle's second Topps card is the key to the 1953 Topps set and is one of the most popular of all postwar baseball cards. The offered example has beautiful colors, a crisp image, and even wear to the corners. Clean reverse. Downgraded due to a surface scratch running through Mantle's ear and a few small wrinkles along his jersey and nameplate. This is a solid mid-grade example of one of collecting's most famous cards.
