Description

Outstanding banquet program dating to the November 11, 1911, football game between Harvard University and the Carlisle Indians, featuring Jim Thorpe. The upset victory by Carlisle over Harvard is considered to be one of Thorpe's greatest games as he scored four field goals and dominated on both sides of the ball. The football-shaped program features the flags of each school in the middle and leather laces on the side as binding. Overall Fair to Good condition.
