Cut signature, rendered in blue ink, of Hall of Fame umpire Thomas Connolly. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the cut and graded the signature NM-MT 8. Thomas Connolly, along with Bill Klem, was one of the first two umpires inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953. The fact that he died just eight years later in 1961 left Hall of Fame collectors just a short window in which to acquire Connolly's signature, resulting in their scarcity today. The cut (3-1/8 x 1 inches) has been affixed to an index card (5 x 3 inches). Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
