Collection of four regionally issued PCL complete or partially complete sets (96 cards in total), spanning the years 1946 to 1950. Includes one signed card. For Pacific Coast League collectors, these Remar Bread sets are among the great classics of the era. Each set features players from the Oakland Oaks. These sets naturally have many PCL stars, but also include some MLB stars and Hall of Famers who also made their mark in the PCL, including Casey Stengel, Billy Herman, and George Kelly. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1946 Remar Bread Oakland Oaks Complete Set (23): Condition ranges from Pr to Vg (averaging Gd), with two Vg-Ex. Keys: #10 Stengel (small pen marks on reverse, otherwise Fr-Gd) and Scarsella (signed, otherwise Gd). 2) 1947 Remar Bread Oakland Oaks Partial Set (14/25) Plus One Duplicate: Condition is three Ex or slightly better, four Vg to Vg-Ex, and seven lesser. Two cards are graded by PSA. Includes: #3 (VG-EX+ 4.5), 6, 7, 8 Stengel (pencil on reverse, otherwise Gd), 11, 12, 13, 14, two 16 (one EX-MT 6), 18, 21, 22, 23, and 24. 3) 1949 Remar Bread Oakland Oaks Complete Set (32): Condition is Vg to Vg-Ex overall, with a few lesser and two trimmed. Keys: Jensen (Vg-Ex), Kelly (trimmed, otherwise Vg) and Martin (Fr). 4) 1950 Remar Bread Oakland Oaks Complete Set (27): Condition ranges from Vg to Ex (averaging Vg-Ex), with one lesser and one with a slight trim.
