Lot # 2698: 1956 St. Mary's vs. University of San Francisco Program Twice-Signed by Bill Russell - JSA

March 6, 1956, University of San Francisco Dons program issued for a game against St. Mary's Gaels, signed twice in blue marker by legendary Hall of Famer Bill Russell. Russell has signed on the front cover (paired with a "#6" inscription) and on an interior page under his portrait. Russell led the Dons to an 82-49 victory that day. The Dons would go on to finish the season with an unblemished 29-0 record and win their second consecutive NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship.
