Modestly graded example of one of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Babe Ruth's classic cards: #181 Ruth, green background, from the 1933 Goudey series. This example has a brilliant green background, outstanding registration, and moderate corner wear. Graded POOR 1 by PSA (submitted by REA), flaws include scattered creasing along with paper loss and small surface abrasions along the reverse. This card is ideal for the collector who wants a presentable example of the 1933 Goudey #181 Ruth card but is not interested in spending the many thousands (or even tens of thousands) of additional dollars an example in a significantly higher grade would require.
