Lot # 2781: 1936 Big Ten Track and Field Championship Multi-Signed Program with Jesse Owens (Twice-Signed), Don Lash, and Mel Walker - PSA/DNA

Program to the 1936 Big Ten Track and Field Championship signed in pencil by Jesse Owens (twice, p. 9 and p. 17), Don Lash (p. 7 w/inscription), and Mel Walker (p. 18 w/inscription). Per PSA/DNA "all other writing is an unknown hand and there is one [additional] unidentifiable signature on the item." The program (7-3/4 x 10-3/4 inches) displays moderate handling wear, with discoloration along the front cover. Please note that pages 11-14 were at one point completely detached from the spine, and that our consignor had them professionally reattached, restored, and conserved by the former head conservationist of Cornell University Library, Michele Emerick Brown.
