The M101-6 set was produced by Chicago publisher Felix Mendelsohn and offered in the pages of The Sporting News over a period of several years (approximately 1917-1920). Crisp image, with flawless registration and even wear on the corners. Graded POOR 1 by SGC due to moderate creasing and a small chip missing on the bottom edge. A very presentable example of this rare Sam Rice card that would be a worthy addition and highlight in a Hall of Fame or classic prewar-card collection.
