Rarely offered M101-6 Felix Mendelsohn of St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Rogers Hornsby. The M101-6 set was produced by Chicago publisher Felix Mendelsohn and offered in the pages of The Sporting News over a period of several years (approximately 1917-1920). Crisp image with flawless registration, light creases, and even wear on the corners. Graded POOR 10 by SGC due to a strip of paper loss along the top edge of the reverse. A very attractive example of this rare Rogers Hornsby card that would be a worthy addition and highlight in any Hall of Fame or classic prewar-card collection.
