Graded VG 3 by SGC. Rarely offered M101-6 Felix Mendelsohn of St. Louis Browns Hall of Famer George Sisler. The M101-6 set was produced by Chicago publisher Felix Mendelsohn and offered in the pages of The Sporting News over a period of several years (approximately 1917-1920). Crisp image, with flawless registration and even wear on the corners. The blank reverse displays light toning, along with parallel lines of adhesive residue from one-time storage in a photo album. A very attractive example of this rare George Sisler card that would be a worthy addition and highlight in a Hall of Fame or classic prewar-card collection.
